About RE4M

RE4M is a deep, abstract strategy board game designed for two players. It combines elements of classic positional games with modern tactical twists like terrain manipulation and special abilities.

The Goal

The objective is simple yet challenging: Be the first player to align 4 pieces in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. However, achieving this requires sharp foresight, as the board is constantly evolving.

Unique Mechanics

• Dynamic Islands: Unlike traditional board games, RE4M features "Islands"—blocked tiles where no piece can be placed. These islands change the topology of the board, forcing players to adapt their strategies for every match layout.
• Star Mode: Each player holds the power of "Stars." This limited resource allows you to push an opponent's piece out of position and lock your own piece in its place. Timing your Star moves is often the difference between victory and defeat.
